(Telecompaper) Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong doubled its profit in 2009. Turnover grew 4 percent to HKD 8.45 billion from HKD 8.12 billion a year earlier.The group’s operating profit for the year reached HKD 787 million, representing an increase of 55 percent when compared to HKD 508 million in 2008, due to steady turnover growth coupled with effective cost management.
