Asia-Pacific stocks trade mixed; SMIC shares in Hong Kong plunge after firm is placed on U.S. blacklist

The Pentagon added China’s largest chipmaker SMIC and and national offshore oil and gas producer CNOOC to a blacklist of alleged Chinese military companies.
